Plümo

 This week I stumbled across online store Plümo, a luxury fashion and lifestyle company which launched in 1997. It features beautiful fashion and jewellery as well as home furniture and decorations.

 I think this is a brilliant idea which I would love to try in Holland! Paul Kalburgi is the man behind the adorable mobile tea room Braithwaites, The English Cream Tea Co. They bring traditional English tea and delicious cakes to the streets.  Just love these illustrations designer Lora Lamm made for Italian department store La Rinascente. She made her fame in the 50's and 60's in advertising with fun work such as the ones above.

You can never have to many lovely mugs and cups!

Agneta Livijn is a Swedish ceramicist and artist.

I especially like the kitchen items from her Classic Line.

Every item is hand produced and hand decorated.

Family weekend

I had a great weekend although the weather was really bad!

It started on Friday evening (my favourite part of the week) when my boyfriend surprised me with a new warm cardigan! On Saturdaymorning I did my regular work out at the gym (still have muscle pain!!!).

In the afternoon my brother, sister in law and their lovely dog visited us and stayed with us for one night. They live in Norway, but they are here for a short holiday. On Sunday we celebrated my father's birthday with a lovely dinner. It was a very busy weekend, but it was nice to have the whole family together!

Betjeman & Barton

As a real tea lover I always go to the beautiful Betjeman & Barton shop in The Hague (Denneweg). The original store can still be found in Paris but this shop has everything your heart desires when it comes to tea. The shop offers a choice of no less than 180 hand picked teas, black or green, classic or perfumed.

If you don’t have time and you know which tea you like, you can always order at the webshop.
